1. (Abstract Noun) interest calculated on both the principal and the accured interest i.e. each time an interest is paid for an amount (the principal amount) deposited in a bank etc. it is added to the principal and thereafter it becomes a part of the principal and it grows this way. মূলধন আৰু ইয়াৰ পৰা পোৱা সূত পুনৰাই সূতৰ বাবে যোগ দিয়া৷ ১০০০ টকা বছৰি ৯% হাৰত ৫ বছৰৰ বাবে চক্ৰবৃদ্ধি সুতৰ বাবে থলে প্ৰথম বছৰৰ শেষত সুত পোৱা ৯০ টকা মূলধন ১০০০ ৰ লগত যোগ হৈ দ্বিতীয় বছৰত মূলধন ১০৯০ টকা হৈ ১০৯০ টকাৰ ওপৰত দ্বিতীয় বছৰত সুত পাব৷ এনেদৰে প্ৰতিবছৰে পোৱা সুত মূলধনৰ সৈতে যোগ হৈ গৈ থাকে৷
